Last Sunday, I went with my mum for a late afternoon shopping tour. After a jump at Prive Joke and American Vintage (and two credit card swipes). We though it was definitely tea time so we went to L’Arrière-Cuisine, a sweet address I discovered via “Bruxelles Sucré”, the little book a already told you about here.
That day we had the choice between a chicken pie, a gazpacho, a red currant and blueberry pie, fresh strawberries and vanilla wiped cream, a tender chocolate cake but also all sort of sandwiches, teas and coffees. My violet tea was served with these marvelous cookies and and my little strawberry and cream plate was simply perfect.
Verdict: A poetic and calm place in the middle of the city, super nice people, a sunny terrace and delicious food. Perfection!
